This series consists of school census cards which comprise an index of students at Mount Edgecumbe Boarding School at Sitka, Alaska. Each card contains the name of the student, his/her parents' or guardians' names; the student's home village or town; the degree of blood and "tribe"; the student's date of birth and the dates of attendance at Mount Edgecumbe. If applicable, the graduation date is noted.

Mt. Edgecumbe High School (MEHS) is a public boarding high school in Sitka, Alaska in the United States. Established in 1947 after the military abandoned the area, the school was originally operated by the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) as part of a network of boarding high schools, which included schools in Eklutna and Wrangell.
